Sm**, sm**, sm**... and I don't mind it 😏
As always, I absolutely adore the works of Brothers W/O Tomorrow. They're always meaningful, there's always some type of poetic nuances and it depicts relationships that are toxic and dangerous with clear outline of characters growth. I honestly love the artistic styles and the plot so I'm never disappointed.
Yes, it was a teeny bit confusing in the start so I had reread some chapters over but I got a better understanding in the end!
Highly recommend!
they are toxic and for me they have way too much s*x scene + I still made when I think about the child

So romantic, beautifully written, erotic, hot but gorgeous, main couple is perfect 💖
Do yourself a favor and read this wonderful story 💕

painful yet beautiful
I've read it 2 years ago but I just re-read it again.
I have to say, this is probably one of my favourite works from Brothers without a Tomorrow.
The plot line was simple, but it also had the right amount of drama that isn't over the top or clichéd, more relatable and very raw.
Definitely coming back to read this again (once my emotions and heart has settled). Sad it's come to an end, but I hope there's room for a sequel *crossing fingers*
This story centres around a business mogul and the man he "buys" from a mafia-led fighting ring. The mogul (uke) keeps the fighter (seme) as his lover as part of a revenge plot against his father, whilst the seme has his own revenge plot against the gang that killed his former "owner". Admittedly, I found it hard to follow the mafia stuff at times, but this was due to so many of the names being so similar, and not because the plot was too complicated.
It's a really great story with great character development and depth. It also explores grief and how people move on from it in different ways. Considering this manga is relatively short, the writer did a really great job in expressing complicated characters and themes. Both main characters are very shut off initially, but as they grow closer, they open up. They are very damaged individuals and although they help each other heal, they remain damaged people in the end. I really liked that it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows at the end, as I felt it was more realistic and truer to the characters not to brush off their traumas.
The art style is nice and is relatively consistent but there are a couple of times where the body shapes are a bit off. The s** scenes are drawn well and the emotion (or lack thereof) is easy to see. The seme is generally respectful of the uke (even when they're going at it hard) but there is one scene where the uke withdraws consent but the seme doesn't stop, which made me a bit uncomfortable.
Overall, this is one of my most favourite mangas ever. I am very hard to please so the fact that I've given this 4 stars should prove how good this is. Honestly, if it wasn't for the non-consent scene, it would be 5 stars.
