Pretty good on The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor
Honestly, at this point, you know who I am. If you don't, luckkkkkkkky. That good fortune ended just now tho. Prepare yourself. Hi, I'm Ivern, and you need to open wide. This is gonna take a bit.
What do we have heeeere? A fun ride, that's what we have. An interesting and zany adventure in the world of Royal Road! As you know, all roads to Hēll are paved with good greedy intentions, and this is MC's own personal he** made of expensive stuff HE DOESN'T WANT TO PAY FOR and disappointing loot drops. The standard MMO experience, y'know.
Meet Weed, our protagonist. Weed is a simple man: he loves money, his sister, and money. In that order. He is a cynical bas**** that would happily sell his business partners as orc food [canonically]. He is also an incredibly hard working and selfless boi, towards his family. Everybody else is free game tho. You are gonna pay for his help, either with money... or in other ways. That includes slavery.
All in all, it's standard action characterization, likeable but not exceptionally deep, until this fuc**** thing stabs you right in the feels. There are these short, ephemeral moments when it decides to make you suffer, without notice, with some rare touching chapters out of literally nowhere. It's surprising, but also occasional and self contained. Could be a bit more organic.
As for the art, we start with a hauntingly realistic detailed style, a bit jarring but exceptionally striking, then we go with a run of the mill action anime style which is more polished but generic, and lastly we slightly turn towards moe designs, which become more mature with time. It's... A lot. Nothing really bad about it, but it does take you out a bit.
So it's a very entertaining journey, focused on adventure and exploration, with some solid RPG growth and development, no OP bullshit, and pretty fun MC. Recommended as a 8½ on the Ivern Scale™️.
