Sigh! I just finished watching the Anime and my sadden heart is just overwhelmed by all the emotions displayed in the Anime, it's a perfect 💯, right from plot to art style and everything else.
I'm yet to read the manga but please give this manga a chance.

Rocks on A Story Concerning Sweets
Everything about this story is so adorable and heartwarming somehow, they are so cute I'm literally crying.

Kinda bad on I Refuse to Be Executed a Second Time
Well the story starts off quite good, the standard revenge plot. The FL goes off to manage a territory which is the good stuff. Then after that it just falls apart. Everyone is a complete idiot except for the FL, the plots make very little sense.
For example the female villainess claims to get pregnant by the prince. The prince never slept with her, there wasn't even a plot to like trick him into sleeping with her. She just claims to be pregnant, and by him. It doesn't show the prince even denying it, doesn't show his side at all. For some reason this means the villainess must become Queen. It falls apart once it is discovered she isn't pregnant, but no one should have believed her over the prince. It literally never shows his side of it.
The story also just slows to a crawl and the romance is just awful, the prince is made to be incredibly boring and bland. He is described as having no personality until the FL gets there, but yes he still has no personality even after that.
