Rocks on Kuzumi-kun, Kuuki Yometemasu ka?
I read a lot of romcoms but this one is absolutely taking the icing on the cake. It is not too long but it still manages to basically squeeze in 3 years from start 1. year until the graduation without making it feel too short or too long.
The way the story progresses without the male mc saying many words is astoundingly working well, because almost all his actions have a meaning & to see the female mc figuring that out during the story progress is very well made. The last chapters are also very giving in unraveling that, especially chapter 50 speaks for all those chapters before where we only ever heard a few words from him.
Even though the female mc is a hardcore tsundere it's weirdly not overbearing to see her going up in flames for every stupid thing he does because he acts so airheaded, uninterested in everything & even straight up just disappears for a couple panels due to beeing interested in some completely unrelated things. They are both a great comedic couple and they even out themselves perfectly.
Almost all main focused characters have a lot of character development throughout those chapters & it's a bliss to see all of those different kind of characters slowly but surely getting closer, fighting, laughing, crying but also ending up as a big group of friends.
The humor is also one of the best that i have read in a long time. It actually made me laugh out loud a lot of times and that really rarely happens when i read romcoms so that means a lot. While some gags are "reused" do to the fact that male mc's actions constantly gets misinterpretized it still does a really good job of not overusing the same thing the whole time.
The dialogues and the expression of the characters are so funny & the translation is also very high quality.
If you in need a good fluffy romcom with a very tiny amount of drama than this is it!
I would rate this a perfect 10/10 and it's a god**** shame that it hasn't gotten an anime adaptation yet.
