Super cute but heartwrenching story about how love f**ks up friendship. A+ art, A+ characters. Just wish they didn't start calling Yoojin "Eugene" like she's some white man or something.

Meh on I'm Destined For Greatness!
DISCLAIMER: this manga is actually not "meh", it's more like "Good enough". So I am rating it a 7 on the Ivern Scale™️, which is obviously the superior evaluation grading system and should take over the entire site. Or else.
But first things first. This one has some pretty definite strong points, and some equally definite weak ones.
Let's start with the good. It is, clearly, very funny. It is also enjoyable. That's due, mostly, to our MC. Meet Taehyun: The Most Evil Person. Have you head about antiheroes? Well, be prepared to face an anti... Mmh. Antinormalperson, to be honest. Taehyun is the worst. Taehyun is the most devious mother[REDACTED] to ever grace a shonen manga. He is not grey. He is pitch black. He is the 9/11 of action protagonists. He is handsome, fit, very very smart, and objectively a bast[REDACTED]. Satan himself would blush at his antics. Hitler would go like "bro, 'Hyun, maybe stop. It's, I mean, enough already.". And watching him is so fun, so cleverly entertaining, so god**** satisfying, you cannot help but root for him. And also hope for him to die painfully. This is because, at its heart, this is a comedy. A good one, to be perfectly clear.
But it's not just a comedy, hence the bad. Action wise, the fights and power system are a chaotic, fun mess. MC is OP: not without reason, but still, Taehyun will NEVER lose. He simply is too cunning for that. They pull not tricks out of his b**, which is admittedly a direct access way to he**, but don't expect linear power growth or sensible fights. Not only that, the art is heavy, it uses some strong contrasts and black contourings. It doesn't stay on model: that enables it to go in some really funny meme skits, with some hilarious facial expression, but it DOES limit its quality. The writing is just as messy, not helped by a pretty mediocre translation. Lastly, the pacing. Comedies die on repetition. Sure, the evil antics keep being entertaining, but if the same things happens for 140 chapters, you are bound to feel stuffed. The solution is simply not binging it, and take breaks, since then you will recover quickly and it will become interesting again, but it is a flaw.
Of course, I am recommending it, but you need to know what confused maelstrom you are getting to. It's not just another standard VR action manga. And that's also its strength.
